Describe the personality or look of your tree.

This is my tree Lennon. It has a cheerful personality and is very caring. It loves to dance in the wind to the melodies sung by the birds sitting on its branches.

Why is this tree important to you?

This tree is important to me as its sturdy bark provided a welcoming rest as I escaped the world while reading a book. Its leaves provide abundant shade making the spot underneath it cool even in the hot summer heat.

What does a sustainable future look like in Monash?

A sustainable future, to me, is a place where sustainable actions have become a part of our unconscious routine. It is where we give back to nature and help it thrive. A sustainable future in Monash is where we have let nature step into our house and daily lives.

What are you doing right now to create that future?

I try to think of the effects my actions have on the environment. I try to avoid using paper and save water wherever possible. I opt to walk instead of drive and use public transport wherever possible. I have started gardening and filling my house with plants.
